Promoter Eddie Hearn says the long-awaited Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury fight cannot collapse, insisting that both boxers have already signed contracts for the bout.
Speaking in an interview, Hearn said the fight is now effectively confirmed and that only a breach of the agreement could derail it.
Hearn dismissed recent comments by Fury suggesting that the fight was in doubt over Joshua's alleged demand for more money.
He said there was no reason for further controversy, as the contracts had already been signed by both parties.
According to Hearn, while either side could technically breach the agreement and face possible legal consequences, neither Joshua nor Fury could simply walk away from the contract.
