English Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion have announced the signing of Super Eagles winger Femi Azeez from Championship side Millwall on a four year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The Premier League club confirmed that the transfer was completed after both clubs submitted a deal sheet before Tuesday's 11 p.m. deadline, extending the window until 1 a.m. to allow the deal to be finalised.

Brighton Sporting Director Mike Cave expressed delight at the arrival of the Nigerian winger, praising his performances for Millwall during the 2025/26 season.

Azeez, 25, made 77 appearances for Millwall, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists during his time at the club. He has progressed through the English football divisions to earn a move to the Premier League.

The winger began his career in the Watford youth system before joining non league side Northwood. He later featured for Wealdstone and Hanwell Town before signing for Reading in 2019 and subsequently moving to Millwall in 2024.

His move to Brighton makes him the second Nigerian player currently on the club's books this season, following the arrival of fellow winger Zadok Yohanna from Swedish club AIK Stockholm.
