The Nigeria Customs Service has commenced the final stage of its 2024 to 2025 recruitment exercise, with 3,852 successful candidates invited for physical screening and documentation in Abuja. The exercise will take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College in Gwagwalada.
The Customs Service says the recruitment was highly competitive, attracting 573,680 applications, with only 3,852 candidates making the final list. This represents a success rate of about 0.67 per cent, or roughly one successful applicant out of every 148 applications.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Abdullahi Maiwada, said candidates must appear with the original and photocopies of all required documents.
These include the National Identification Number, birth certificate or declaration of age, educational certificates, certificate of state of origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed guarantor's form and NYSC certificate, where applicable.
Candidates have also been directed to wear a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes for the physical screening.
