El-Kanemi Warriors have departed Nigeria for Bissau ahead of the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round clash against UDIB of Guinea-Bissau.

The players and officials left the country today through the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.

The second leg is at the Estadio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau.

El-Kanemi Warriors go into the match with a strong advantage after securing a three-nil victory over UDIB in the first leg at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

The Borno-based side will be looking to protect their lead and secure qualification to the second preliminary round of the competition.

El-Kanemi Warriors were eliminated at the first preliminary round stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2024 by Beninese club Dadje FC.
