The Federal Government has confirmed that all federal unity colleges across the country will resume academic activities on Monday, September 14, 2026.

The Federal Ministry of Education announced this in a statement issued today by its Director of Press and Public Relations.

The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, said adequate arrangements have been made to ensure the safe return of students and staff as the new academic session begins.

He said relevant security agencies have been notified of the resumption plans and will maintain heightened vigilance around the colleges and their immediate environments.

The minister assured that the safety and wellbeing of students and staff remain a priority for the Federal Government in its efforts to provide a secure and conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Alausa urged parents and guardians to remain calm, rely on official information and prepare their children to return to their respective colleges on Monday.
