Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has responded to persistent online criticism directed at her and her family, attributing the attacks to her history of activism and insisting that she has no regrets about standing up for causes she believes in.

Ojo, in a lengthy statement shared on Instagram today, urged social media users to demand evidence whenever allegations are made against individuals rather than accepting unverified claims.

She stressed that anyone making an allegation should be prepared to substantiate it, adding that no individual is above the law.

The actress also warned against what she described as manipulation on social media, particularly by individuals who claim to possess evidence against others without making such evidence available for independent verification.

She urged members of the public to critically examine such claims before accepting them as facts.
