The family of late Nollywood actress and producer, Temitope Osoba, has announced she will be buried in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

According to an obituary shared on her Instagram page today, her remains will leave Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, at 9am, while the burial service will be held between 10am and 11am at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market.

The interment will take place immediately after the service at Iperu Remo Cemetery, with mourners expected to wear white.

Osoba, also known as Tope Osoba, died in August at the age of 40. She had spent nearly two decades in Nollywood. The actress had publicly battled breast cancer and announced her recovery and return to acting in August 2025.

However, conflicting accounts surrounding the circumstances of her death led to calls for an investigation and autopsy. Her family subsequently urged the public and media to disregard unverified claims and rely on information released through its official channels.
