NIS Urges Nigerian Passport Applicants in UK to Submit Details for Verification

The Nigeria Immigration Service has called on Nigerians in the United Kingdom who completed the Contactless Passport Application process but are yet to receive their passports to submit their details for verification and resolution.
The Service made the appeal in a post on its official X handle on Sunday, directing affected applicants to complete a Contactless Passport Application Resolution Form.
The NIS urged applicants who have completed their applications but are still awaiting delivery of their passports to provide the necessary information through the designated form, assuring them that efforts are ongoing to resolve outstanding issues.
According to the Service, applicants are required to provide their full names, contact information, application numbers, reference numbers and their current location in the United Kingdom.
They are also expected to indicate whether they submitted a self-addressed envelope, along with their old passports, to the Nigerian High Commission. Applicants are further required to state whether they have tracked the status of their passport applications.
The NIS said complaints submitted through the form would be collated and reviewed within three working days of submission as part of efforts to address the backlog and resolve individual cases.
