President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a trusted ally, patriot and dedicated public servant.
In a statement issued ahead of Shettima's birthday, President Tinubu congratulated the Vice President's wife, Nana, his children, family members and political associates on the milestone.
He praised Shettima for his years of service to Borno State and Nigeria, including his career in banking, his tenure as governor of Borno State and his current role as Vice President.
He commended Shettima's commitment to national unity and development, describing his years in public office as marked by courage, diligence, compassion and dedication to improving the lives of Nigerians.
President Tinubu also praised the Vice President for his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, his support for the administration and his contribution to the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President particularly acknowledged Shettima's leadership of the National Economic Council, saying he had played an important role in coordinating economic policies and strengthening cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments.
He prayed that Almighty God would continue to guide, protect and strengthen the Vice President, while granting him wisdom, good health and many more years of purposeful service to the country.
