France head coach, Zinedine Zidane, has named four captains for the national team, with Kylian Mbappe retaining the armband.

Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele has been named vice-captain, while Adrien Rabiot and Jules Kounde complete the leadership group.

Mbappe, who has made 106 appearances for Les Bleus, will continue as captain. Dembele has 67 caps, while Rabiot has made 66 appearances and Kounde 56.

According to RMC Sport, Zidane's selection was notably influenced by the players' seniority with the national team.

Zidane took charge of France after the 2026 World Cup, replacing Didier Deschamps.
