Popular Nigerian content creator and comedian, Broda Shaggi, has returned to social media months after disappearing from the online space following a shooting incident in Ogun State. The skit maker had been absent from social media since March 2026, after he was reportedly shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge. The Lagos State Police Command had confirmed that the incident was reported by a private hospital in the Alakuko area of the state, where he was initially taken for treatment. The report, which emerged online on March 13, sparked widespread concern among fans over his health and whereabouts. However, Broda Shaggi has now broken his silence in an emotional video shared on his social media page, revealing that the incident occurred on March 9. Describing the experience as a day he wished had never happened, the comedian shared a brief video showing him being rushed to the hospital with a gunshot injury and visible blood stains. He also announced that he would share details of the shooting with the public on Wednesday.
