Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Ayo Abdulrahman, has urged Rangers players to be mentally prepared for a tough test in the second leg of their CAF Champions League tie against MC Alger. The encounter is scheduled to be held on Friday at the Stade Ali-Ammar in Douéra, Algeria. Rangers will go into the return leg with a two-nil advantage from the first leg and will be hoping to secure qualification for the group stage of the competition. Abdulrahman warned the Enugu-based side not to underestimate their opponents, urging the players to remain focused and adapt to the demands of the game. Speaking to the NPFL media, he said the match would not be an easy outing, advising the players to take the fight to MC Alger and remain disciplined, particularly when defending. The aggregate winner over the two legs will secure a place in the lucrative group stage of the CAF Champions League.
