PSG Thrash Manchester City 4-2 to Top Champions League Table

Paris Saint-Germain have returned to the top of the UEFA Champions League table after securing an impressive 4-2 victory over Manchester City. The defending champions dominated the first half, taking a three-goal lead into the break through Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha. Doue opened the scoring before providing the assist for Dembele to double PSG’s advantage, while Vitinha added a third goal before half-time. Manchester City responded after the restart, with Erling Haaland pulling one back to give the hosts hope. However, Maghnes Akliouche restored PSG’s three-goal cushion, before Haaland scored his second goal of the night, which proved insufficient to prevent City’s defeat. The result strengthened PSG’s position at the summit of the Champions League standings, with Barcelona occupying second place. Aston Villa, Stuttgart and Liverpool completed the top five, while LASK, Lille, Galatasaray and Slovan Bratislava occupied the bottom four positions in the table.
