ZAMFARA: INEC Urges Uncollected PVC Holders to Visit LGA Offices Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Zamfara State has announced that registered voters who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards can obtain them at the commission’s offices across the state’s 14 local government areas.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mahmuda Isah, disclosed this today during a stakeholders’ meeting on preparations for the 2027 general elections and PVC collection in Gusau, the state capital.
Isah explained that the ward-level PVC collection exercise ended on October 15, 2026, urging eligible voters who had not collected their cards to visit INEC offices in their respective local government areas. He emphasised that PVC collection is free and must be done personally by the registered voter, warning against payment, collection by proxy or any practice that could compromise the integrity of the process.
