A Lagos court has reserved judgment in the trial of social media personality Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, on charges bordering on alleged money laundering.

The defence urged the court to discharge and acquit the defendant, while the anti-graft agency maintained it had presented sufficient evidence to secure a conviction.

A ruling has been scheduled for October 15, 2026.
