FIFA introduces World Cup winners' rings ahead of Argentina vs Spain final

FIFA is set to introduce a new tradition by presenting World Cup winners' rings to the champions of Sunday's final between Argentina and Spain at MetLife Stadium.
The rings, inspired by the long-standing practice in American sports, will accompany the traditional gold medals, with 30 exclusive rings produced for the winning team.
The trophy presentation will be attended by United States President Donald Trump, who is expected to hand over the World Cup trophy after the final.
Although the tournament has been staged across North America, Trump has not attended any of the previous 102 matches. His appearance at the final follows confirmation from the White House after earlier indications from FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
