FIFA has announced the match officials for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, with Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić set to take charge of the title decider.

The appointment was confirmed by the world football governing body today through its official X account.

Vinčić will be assisted by fellow Slovenians Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič as first and second assistant referees. Jordan's Adham Makhadmeh will serve as the fourth official, while Mohammad Alkalaf has been named reserve assistant referee.

The final will be played on Sunday at the 80,663-capacity New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 p.m. local time.
