Nigeria wins women's title at NFL Africa Flag Football Championship

The National Football League has staged its third annual African flag football competition in Kenya as the league continues efforts to expand the sport across the continent.
The three-day tournament featured teams from Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa. Egypt won the men's title, while Nigeria claimed victory in the women's competition.
The event also included a talent identification programme for players with the potential to join the NFL.
NFL Africa Head Osi Umenyiora said the sport is accessible to people of all backgrounds and described increased participation as central to the league's expansion plans in Africa.
