Nigeria's senior women's basketball team, D'Tigress, have intensified preparations for the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup with a training camp in Tenerife, Spain.

The team arrived in Spain earlier this week for the third phase of their preparations, which will run until August 24. Rena Wakama's side will face Spain and Belgium before moving to Zaragoza for the final phase from August 25 to September 3.

In Zaragoza, D'Tigress will play tune-up games against Mali and Puerto Rico before travelling to Berlin, Germany, for the World Cup.
