The Nigeria Football Federation has inaugurated a fact-finding committee to investigate the causes of the country's recent setbacks in international football, with particular focus on the Super Falcons' failure to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau inaugurated the committee on Monday and gave it two weeks to complete its investigation and submit a report.

He tasked the members with examining the direct and underlying causes of the poor performances by Nigeria's national teams and developing solutions to address the challenges.
