Real Madrid have completed the signing of Ivory Coast international Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig in a deal worth up to 140 million euros.

The 19-year-old winger has signed a seven-year contract with the Spanish club, making him one of the most expensive signings in the club's history. The transfer fee could surpass the amount Real Madrid agreed to pay Borussia Dortmund for England midfielder Jude Bellingham in 2023.

Diomande attracted interest from several leading European clubs after an impressive season with RB Leipzig. French champions Paris Saint-Germain reportedly ended their pursuit after a 120 million euro bid was rejected, while Liverpool also failed in their attempt to sign the Ivorian winger after an initial offer of 69 million pounds was turned down.
