Veteran Nollywood actor Jim Iyke said real success is driven more by life experience, mentorship and practical survival skills than by formal education alone.

Speaking during a recent interview, the actor argued that academic knowledge, while valuable, does not always translate into financial success or personal achievement, noting that many former students, including himself, have gone on to achieve greater success than some of the lecturers who taught them.

Recalling an encounter with one of his late university professors, he said the meeting reinforced his belief that success often depends on how individuals apply lessons learned outside the classroom. While acknowledging the value of education, Iyke stressed that practical knowledge, mentorship and real-world experience often play a greater role in achieving long-term success.
