The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has granted the Enugu State Government a 15-year lease to operate its Digital Industrial Park and Learning Centre.

The facility is expected to support artificial intelligence, startup development, digital skills acquisition, research and technology-driven businesses.

The NCC Executive Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Aminu Maida, announced the partnership during the handover ceremony in Enugu. Maida said the facilities were established to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, job creation and human capital development, while positioning Nigeria as a competitive destination for technology-enabled services.
