Health insurance enrolment crosses 12 million nationwide
National health insurance enrolment has crossed 12 million lives covered, according to the sector regulator, with much of the recent growth attributed to an expanded informal-sector scheme.
Officials say premium subsidies for low-income enrollees have played a significant role in boosting uptake over the past year.
The regulator has set a target of 20 million lives covered by the end of the current administration's term.
