Abuja played host to a continental infrastructure investment forum that drew pledges worth an estimated $2.3 billion for transport and energy projects across West Africa.

Delegates from over 20 countries attended sessions focused on public-private partnership models for cross-border rail and power interconnection projects.

Organisers say a follow-up forum will track pledge implementation progress within twelve months.
