Dangote Refinery exports ₦757bn worth of jet fuel to Europe

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery exported about 466,000 metric tonnes of jet fuel to Europe in June 2026, valued at an estimated ₦757 billion, making Nigeria a larger supplier to Europe than the United States during the month.
The exports, equivalent to about 582.5 million litres, marked Nigeria's highest monthly jet fuel shipment to Europe since becoming a net exporter of aviation fuel in 2024, following the refinery's commencement of jet fuel production.
According to market analysts, increased production from Dangote and U.S. refineries contributed to an oversupplied European jet fuel market and declining prices.
