Nigeria's Inflation Drops Further to 15.43% in July as Disinflation Trend Sustains

Nigeria's headline inflation rate has moderated further, falling by 48 basis points to 15.43 per cent in July 2026, as relative stability in the macroeconomic outlook sustained the country's disinflation trend.
The latest Consumer Price Index released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed an improvement from 15.91 per cent recorded in June.
Core inflation, which excludes farm produce and energy, also recorded a significant decline of 94 basis points, falling from 15.92 per cent in June to 14.97 per cent in July.
