A leading university in the Federal Capital Territory has launched a dedicated Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, becoming one of the first in the region to offer specialised undergraduate programmes in the field.

University officials say the faculty was developed in partnership with regional technology firms to align curriculum with industry demand.

The first cohort of 400 students is expected to be admitted for the coming academic session.
