Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has nominated the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Jerry Adams, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election.

The governor announced the nomination on his official X account, saying the decision followed wide consultations, careful reflection and prayers.

Governor Uba Sani said the nomination reflects his administration's commitment to inclusion, justice, fairness and equitable representation, describing Jerry Adams as an accomplished public servant and tax administrator whose leadership at KADIRS has strengthened the state's internally generated revenue and public financial management, enabling greater investment in education, healthcare, infrastructure and agriculture.
