The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has raised concerns over continued violations of the ban on the production of sachet alcoholic drinks by some manufacturers across the country.

NAFDAC Director-General, Mojisola Adeyeye, during an interview, said the continued production of sachet alcohol reflects a disregard for the agency's regulatory directives and efforts to enforce compliance.

Adeyeye warned that NAFDAC is considering sanctions against companies and individuals found to be violating the ban. She maintained that the agency remains committed to enforcing the regulation to protect public health and ensure compliance with national standards.
