Tinubu approves 400km extension of Fourth Legacy Highway

President Bola Tinubu has approved the extension of the Fourth Legacy Highway by 400 kilometres, increasing the road corridor from about 700 kilometres to approximately 1,100 kilometres.
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, announced the approval during a media briefing in Abuja, describing it as part of the Federal Government's efforts to strengthen infrastructure, improve connectivity and stimulate economic growth.
According to Umahi, the expanded highway will extend into Taraba State, linking more communities and enhancing connections between the North-Central and North-East regions.
