President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to expanding critical infrastructure across Nigeria, describing road development as a key driver of economic growth, job creation and national development.

The President made the declaration through Vice President Kashim Shettima during the commissioning of the newly completed Collector Road C-01 and bridge in the Institutional and Research District of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Speaking at the event, Shettima said the project demonstrates the Tinubu administration's resolve to translate its Renewed Hope Agenda into tangible infrastructure that improves the daily lives of Nigerians, describing it as more than a transportation facility — a fulfilment of a promise to provide infrastructure capable of stimulating economic activities, improving mobility and enhancing connectivity within the nation's capital.

He added that the newly completed road will ease movement for residents, students, lecturers, legal practitioners and other road users, while reducing travel time and opening up the district for greater commercial and institutional development.
