Following complaints by residents of Wuse District in the Federal Capital Territory over the continued delay in public water supply, the FCT Water Board has restored water supply across houses and office spaces in the city centre.

Speaking with Montage FM newsroom, personnel of the FCT Water board confirmed that water supplies will be restored by Tuesday evening, appealing to residents for the delay in the water supply for weeks.

Checks by montage confirmed that water supply has been restored after weeks of disruption which caused severe hardship for households and businesses, forcing many to depend on commercial water vendors at increasingly high costs.

Earlier, residents warned that the prolonged shortage created serious public health concerns, as households rationed limited supplies meant for cooking, bathing and sanitation, raising fears of possible disease outbreaks if the situation persists.
