The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing food shortages and unemployment through agriculture and livestock development.

Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Maiha, stated this on Monday at the second International Conference of the Agrifood Systems Stakeholders Forum. He called for stronger collaboration among stakeholders to advance agricultural development.

Maiha urged stakeholders to support the Federal Government's coordinated national livestock development agenda, saying it would increase agricultural productivity, create jobs and help restore public confidence in the sector.
