The Presidency has dismissed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's claim that the Federal Government received an unaccounted ₦7.98 trillion oil windfall, describing the allegation as misleading and lacking analytical basis.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the Presidency maintained that no such oil windfall existed, insisting that any additional revenue generated from higher global crude oil prices is reflected in the monthly Federation Account Allocation Committee distributions.

It added that President Tinubu's administration remains committed to sustaining its economic reforms, strengthening fiscal discipline and implementing policies aimed at achieving long-term economic stability and inclusive growth.
