Tinubu to Open Abuja Conference on Security, National Unity

President Bola Tinubu is expected to open a two-day international conference in Abuja on Tuesday, focusing on Nigeria's security challenges and national unity.
The conference, organised by Jama'atu Izalatil Bidiah wa Iqamatis Sunnah, JIBWIS Nigeria, in partnership with the Muslim World League of Saudi Arabia, will examine kidnapping, banditry, terrorism and other threats confronting the country.
Themed Diversity and Peaceful Coexistence among People, the event will bring together Islamic scholars, policymakers, security experts, traditional rulers and other stakeholders to discuss practical solutions to insecurity and ways of strengthening national cohesion. The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar, is expected to serve as Royal Father of the Day, while governors, ministers, lawmakers and other stakeholders are expected to attend.
