Ukraine Targets Russian Oil Refineries in Fresh Long-Range Drone Strikes

Ukraine says it has carried out long-range strikes on two Russian oil refineries, with President Volodymyr Zelensky announcing that facilities in Bashkortostan and Yaroslavl were targeted.
Reports from Yaroslavl showed thick black smoke rising over the city following the attack. Yaroslavl Regional Governor Mikhail Yevrayev described the incident as the largest drone attack on the region since the start of the conflict.
He said Russian air defences destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones, but falling debris struck oil storage tanks, causing damage. Russia's military said it intercepted and destroyed 605 Ukrainian drones launched across several regions, including Yaroslavl.
