Residents of Wuse District in the Federal Capital Territory have expressed frustration over the continued delay in public water supply, calling on the Federal Capital Territory Administration to urgently restore water services after nearly three weeks of dry taps across Wuse Zones 1, 2, 3 and Wuse II.

They say the prolonged disruption has caused severe hardship for households and businesses, forcing many to depend on commercial water vendors at increasingly high costs.

Residents also warned that the prolonged shortage is creating serious public health concerns, as households are now rationing limited supplies meant for cooking, bathing and sanitation, raising fears of possible disease outbreaks if the situation persists.

The affected residents further appealed to the FCT Minister, the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Federal Capital Development Authority to intervene without further delay. They stressed that Wuse, being one of Abuja's major districts, should not be left without access to a basic necessity, and urged the authorities to restore public water supply as quickly as possible.
