Court reserves judgment in ₦6 billion money laundering case

A Lagos State Special Offences Court has reserved judgment in a high-profile money laundering case, with a ruling date set for October 15.
The defence urged the court to discharge the defendant, arguing that the prosecution failed to prove its allegations beyond reasonable doubt, while the anti-graft agency maintained it had presented sufficient evidence.
The case, which centres on an alleged ₦6 billion scheme, has drawn wide public attention since proceedings began.
