Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has approved a consolidated salary structure and official vehicles for the state's three headmasters-general.

Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board, Femi Akinwumi, disclosed this in Ado-Ekiti, saying the move is aimed at strengthening administrative leadership and improving supervision in public primary schools.

The beneficiaries are Monisola Oguntamore for Ekiti Central, Isaac Ogunleye for Ekiti South and Mrs Bola Omotoso for Ekiti North, who were appointed in June 2025.

Akinwumi noted that the approval will improve mobility, support school monitoring, boost morale and attract capable professionals into leadership roles within the basic education sector.

The SUBEB chairman said the decision reflects Governor Oyebanji's commitment to improving basic education through better infrastructure, teacher development, recruitment and timely payment of salaries and pensions.

He urged the headmasters-general to uphold transparency, diligence and accountability while carrying out their responsibilities.
