Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has donated five operational vehicles, popularly known as Green Marias, to the Delta State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service to enhance its operational capacity and strengthen security across the state.

The vehicles were presented at the Government House in Asaba. Representing the governor at the event, Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme said the donation reflects the state government's commitment to supporting security agencies and improving the administration of justice.

He noted that the vehicles would boost the mobility of correctional personnel, improve response to operational duties, and strengthen supervision and coordination within the command, explaining that the gesture aligns with the Enhanced Peace and Security pillar of the Oborevwori administration's MORE Agenda, aimed at promoting safety and stability across Delta State.
